Journées de la Flute at Nice Conservatoire, France

On the 8th and 9th of Feb., 2013, I was a featured guest artist for the Journées de la Flute in Nice, France. I stayed with my friend Sibel Pensel. I played a recital, taught two masterclasses in French, and got to play a Vivaldi two flute concerto with Maxence Larrieu, which was a fantastic experience. One of the other featured flutists was the wonderful Julien Beaudiment, from the Lyons Symphony, who is now taking over as the new principal flutist of the Los Angelos Philharmonic. I am so excited for him!!
