Ecuador – June 2012

In June 2012, I was invited to perform and teach at an International Flute Festival in Quito, Ecuador.  On my way there, I stopped in Guayaquil, Ecuador to visit two children I have been sponsoring through Children International.  I had been sponsoring them for years, but this was the first time I had met them in person.  What an experience!  I was able to take them shopping at a mall and then out to eat. I was also able to play a short concert at the Children’s center for all the children and parents there getting school supplies.  See photos.
